Regular climbers retire their ropes every 1–3 years, resulting in significant material waste. While no longer reliable for big falls, these ropes retain durable properties suitable for extended use. This project explores creative ways to give my retired climbing rope a second life, reducing its environmental impact through a series of products, including a reupholstered chair, a credit card wallet, and a climbing chalk bag.
